Joanne performs Family and Adult Concerts, leads Workshops (for educators, music educators and the general public), directs Intergenerational Community Sings, leads Rounds Sings, and conducts residencies in singing and in songwriting across the country, in addition to directing several Intergenerational and Children's Choruses in the greater Boston area. Her work is centered in New England, but she tours in northern California every year and books smaller tours in the Midwest, South and other areas. She also teaches week-long classes at summer music institutes and is a presenter at various conferences.Performance Schedule 2017:

-- First rehearsal for fall season of the Greater Boston Intergenerational Chorus, directed by Hammil. This is an open rehearsal so people can ‘check out’ the chorus before deciding to enroll. (We are capping membership at 80, so if you KNOW you’d like to join, contact Director or Membership Chair below for enrollment form.) Open to all who love to sing, ages 10-110, we are currently 80 singers from 29 towns. We sing in an eclectic mix of musical styles in multi-part harmonies, create exciting beauty and have a blast together!

-- The Greater Boston Intergenerational Chorus, directed by Joanne Hammil, will perform at the Martin Luther King Day Unity Breakfast event; $10 donation for breakfast and event.
