Joanne performs Family and adult Concerts, leads Workshops (for educators, music educators and the general public), directs Intergenerational Community Sings, leads Rounds Sings, and conducts residencies in singing and in songwriting across the country, in addition to directing several Intergenerational and Children's Choruses in the greater Boston area. Her work is centered in New England, but she tours in northern California every year and books smaller tours in the Midwest, South and other areas. She also teaches week-long classes at summer music institutes and is a presenter at various conferences.

Joanne's Greater Boston Intergenerational Chorus will be one of 10 community choruses featured in the first Greater Boston Community Choral Festival at Sanders Theatre at Harvard in Cambridge.
